bikeprincess: (thinking)
With the craziness of Golden Week, I completely forgot that my dad left me some very nifty bike parts! While the bike shop in Toyama is wonderful, it feels so nice to have my family's bike shop parts and tools to use. (*^▽^*) I'll be very much looking forward to using these in the future. ♥

As of lately, it feels like there's been a paparazzi storm in the club! Σ(゜ロ゜;) We've had interviewers left and right asking us how we feel about about our future in tournaments. Just yesterday I even got interviewed about my thoughts on a certain member of the club. Which was interesting to say the least, first time I've ever been interviewed in my life. We've also had a particular loud fan club coming to watch our practice. I've never seen so many girls watching the cycling club practice before! (・□・;)

It's great that the club is finally getting some attention but I also feel like the days of peaceful practice are gone. (¬ε¬;) Oh well, as long as it doesn't get in the way...

I can't believe it's already time to start school. That break just flew by, but it didn't help that I had the most AWESOME Golden Week ever. Kuroo-san, Bokuto-san, Yachi-chan and I went on a road trip and we visited Osaka and it was looooots of fun and so many memorable things. (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚* Thanks a ton to the three of you for making it a Golden Week I will never ever forget and anyone that hasn't been to Osaka, please visit because it's amazing! (*´ω`)o

Where do I even begin... the road trip itself was fun. We had a sing along to a bunch of Love Live songs and it was a blast. I could sing Cutie Panther and Storm in Lover all day, such fun songs. ヾ(〃^∇^)ノ♪ Of course my favorite will always be Love Marginal~ (Except we sang a little too loud, I think the car next to us when we got caught in traffic got really annoyed at us. Oops. ┐(ツ)┌)

The takoyaki museum had so many tasty things and I didn't get tired of takoyaki or okonomiyaki a single time while I was there. The aquarium was beyond cool, I think that had to be one of the most fun aquariums that I've ever been to. Yachi-chan and I went crazy in the gift shop buying souvenirs from there, they had so many cute whale shark and penguin things. ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ) Of course, USJ was EPIC. I think my favorites were the Jurassic Park and Space Fantasy. SO MUCH FUN!! (*≧▽≦) I think one of my favorite parts of the trip was Tonbori River Cruise. We went on it during the night and seeing all of the lights throughout the city of Osaka was breath taking. I took so many pictures but this one is probably one of my favorites...

So pretty!!

Another awesome thing that happened was that I ran into my old high school friend, Naruko-kun! It's been so long since we last talked, so it was great to catch up with him. ヾ(^∇^) He and Bokuto-san especially seemed to hit it off right away...

Woo!!! ☆ヾ(*´・∀・)ノ Golden Week is finally here~

My parents surprised me by coming down today to see me! I heard a surprise knock on my door and there they were! (*≧▽≦) Although unfortunately, they both can't stay very long since they are busy but they should be around for at least a day or two. My brother couldn't make it since he's taking care of things at the shop, but they both suspect he might be seeing someone and is just not saying anything~ (*´ω`)o I'll have to bother him for the details later.

As for how I'll be spending the rest of Golden week, I have plans to take a road trip to Osaka with Kuroo-san, Bokuto-san and Yachi-chan. ヾ(〃^∇^)ノ♪ I've never been to Osaka but I've always wanted to go. I have a list of things I want to do but I don't even know where to begin. If anyone has an recommendations, that would be very helpful!

I'll also be sure to pick up souvenirs for my wonderful friends. ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ)

The start of the new school year has been so busy for me. Got lots of studying and projects that need to be done~ Along with making sure that the Kaiko Cycling Club members are in their top form and of course, making sure all of the bikes are well taken care of. I'm determined for us to do well in tournaments this year! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ Watch out Toyama~

In other news, I went to Bendy's for lunch today and as I was leaving, I saw quite possibly one of the most beautiful dogs that I've seen. (♡゚▽゚♡)

Isn't she gorgeous? I just had to take a picture and play with her. Luckily, her owner was kind enough to let me pet and even play with her. The dog's name is Amy and she's a white golden retriever! And not only is she pretty, the lady who owned the dog was telling me that she is a guide dog that helps her daughter who is blind, walk around. Dogs are such amazing and wonderful creatures. (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚* I wish the dorms allowed pets because I'd totally get a dog. Not sure which breed I'd want though! A Spitz? Or Maybe even a golden retriever like Amy~

ALSO after I read Hinata-kun's post, I suddenly got a huge craving for yakiniku. So I was wondering if anyone would be up to the idea of having a yakiniku party? ヾ(^∇^) It can be a celebration for us students being almost done with the first month of school. (But it's mainly an excuse to pig out on yakiniku ♡ (*・∀-)☆)

It's a little late but I can't begin to express my words of gratitude towards my amazing friends. Thank you so much for that lovely birthday celebration. Thanks to you all, I truly felt like I was a queen that day. (*≧▽≦)

Good job to everyone that competed in the nationals! (ノ^ヮ^)ノ*:・゚✧ I wish I could have been there to see all of the games but I'm sure every single match was exciting. AND WAY TO GO KAIKO BASEBALL TEAM!!! o(*^▽^*)o Congratulations to each and every single one of you~

Also, I can't believe spring is here~ I've been so used to the cold winter that I'm so used to being bundled up. I haven't worn a yukata in ages so I'm thinking about going on a hunt for a new one! ヾ(^∇^)

Picture of me and the birthday boy~ O(≧∇≦)O

Kind of late but I wanted to say thank you to everyone who showed up at Tanaka-senpai's birthday party! I had a blast with all of you. Even if we did get in trouble (*≧▽≦) And most importantly, it was fun spending the evening celebrating the birthday of someone as awesome as Tanaka-senpai. (*⌒▽⌒*)θ~♪

In other news, I'm sure everyone knows by now that the Sakura dorms are haunted. I've decided that all these mysteries need to be figured out once and for all and that I, Kanzaki Miki shall play the role of GHOSTBUSTER!!! ヾ(〃^∇^)ノ♪

So, would anyone be interested in going on a ghost hunt with me? ✧٩(•́⌄•́๑) I'm not afraid of no ghost and when there's something strange in your dorm, we got to stick together. We can do this, guys!!! We can solve these mysteries. (•̀ o •́ )

Also, good luck to everyone who is competing in the nationals!!! (ノ^ヮ^)ノ*:・゚✧ It's crazy to think that the nationals are almost here.

I've been sitting here in anticipation for the Cycling finals. I have the utmost confidence in my Kaiko cycling boys to do their best. (ノ*゜▽゜*) Also a congratulations to all of the other Kaiko schools that got far in their tournaments! I'm especially proud of the Volleyball and the Baseball team. (*^▽^*)

[ooc: The following part of this post will be screened FROM Tanaka, everyone else will be able to see it! ♥]

I know that things have been crazy because of the tournament, but I want to let everyone know that, Kuroo-san, Bokuto-san, Yachi-chan and I are planning a surprise birthday party for Tanaka Ryuunosuke!! (ノ^ヮ^)ノ*:・゚✧

It'll be held at the Sakura dorms on March 3rd in the evening. There will be food, games and of course lots of fun and mingling! Everyone is invited, even if you don't live in the Sakura dorms you are more than welcomed to come by and celebrate his birthday with us! o(≧∇≦o) Do bring him presents, though! He deserves the best!

Comment if you want to attend! That way we know how much food we'll need to prepare. Or if you want to show up last minute, that's fine too! The more the merrier. (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚* Any suggestions on ideas for the party theme, food and games to play will be greatly appreciated! We could also use help in preparations, anyone that wants to help with cooking, decorating or anything let me know~ (○゜ε^○)

Happy Valentines Day~

I hope that everyone is having a terrific Valentines day and is spending quality time with the person you care about. (´∀`)♡ I got some tomo chocolates from some friends at school but As for myself, I don't have any plans besides the scavenger hunt. I am thinking about stopping by the pizza place to get a bite to eat because...

Apparently, they are serving heart shape pizzas right now and I just think that's the cutest thing I've ever seen. ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ) Also, a huge thanks to Yachi-chan for helping me make chocolate and bake things~ If it wasn't for her guidance I'd totally be lost on what to do.

(OOC: Like in Yachi's post, everything is behind a cut to save people's cellphone data since this is also quite image heavy.

Valentines day treats coming your way~ )

The winter festival was so much fun!! I had a blast looking at all the different booths and looking at all the ice sculptures.
(*´▽`*)You Togei students are all so very talented! I wish I had a talent for art like them, I can barely even draw a stick figure!

In other news...

I UNLOCKED THIS KOTORI-CHAN UR CARD TODAY!!!! O(≧∇≦)O Isn't she adorable?! I nearly fell out of my chair when I got this card. I am in eternal bliss right now (❁´▽`❁)*✲゚* Best Valentines Day present~~ But I still can't get past Beat in Angel on hard.
(;`O´)o Why is that song so difficult?!

Watching Star Wars with everyone was so much fun! Thank you to everyone who showed up, it was my first time seeing the movie and it was much more fun with all of us together. (〃^▽^〃) Whenever episode 8 comes out we must get together again to watch it.

Special thanks to Bokuto-san and Kuroo-san for dressing up as my dashing and handsome Han Duo. You two looked awesome and as Princess Leia, I felt so lucky to be accompanied by the both of you. (♡゚▽゚♡) Makishima-san was also the most awesome looking Yoda. How do you think of such creative outfits? (•̀ o •́ )

I can't believe how fast this month as flown by! (。・o・。) It felt like just yesterday we were celebrating the new year. It's almost February and it's crazy to think Valentines Day will be here soon. Looks like I need to start getting my chocolate ingredients prepared. (ノ*゜▽゜*)

I hope that everyone had a safe and relaxing break! Before coming back to Toyama, my family and I visited one of the shrines at Chiba and I bought this cute little monkey charm while I was there. ♡✧( ु•⌄• )

Hopefully it will bring me lots of luck. ♡ I completely forgot that in the Chinese Zodiac, this year is the Monkey's time to shine so to anyone who was born in the year of the Monkey I hope you have lots of good luck and fortune coming your way.

Just to remind people about Kuroo-san's post, everyone is welcome to come watch Star Wars with us! We hope to make it a nice get together everyone and even if you've already seen it, you are still more than welcomed to join us for the fun.

I'm gonna dress up as Princess Leia when we all watch the movie together. I tried styling my hair like her's and I think the result came out pretty okay?

Click for Selfie~ )

Just need to find a dress that looks like her's and I'm set! I wouldn't mind having someone dressing up as Han Solo to accompany me. ☆~(ゝ。∂)
bikeprincess: (wink~)
Hope that everyone is having a safe and relaxing break~ I saw on of the coolest decorations that a neighbor of mine had.

I AM SO GONNA DO THIS! ヾ(≧∇≦*)ゝ Watch out Sakura dorms, we will have lighted bicycles in front of the dorms next year!!

Anyone seen the new Star Wars movie? ヾ(*・ω・)ノ I've been so busy that I keep forgetting to see it. Movies are more fun with friends, so, whenever I come back to Toyama would anyone be interesting in joining me? ❤

Congratulations to Johoga at their recent win in the cycling competition~ Of course with Makishima-san around, it's really not a surprise. My school has really got to start stepping up their game for the next tournament.~ So Kaiko Cycling Club, be prepared for some training and for me to look at each and every single one of your bikes. (๑✧◡✧๑)

A shout out to Kaiko's volleyball club in making it to the finals. Best of luck to all of you! I'll definitely try to stop by and watch.

I'm curious but does anyone have any ice skating tips? I've been thinking about trying to skate but quite honestly, I've never ice skated before in my life so I'm not sure what to expect. (;´@へ@`) It looks like a fun sport, though!
bikeprincess: (lets talk about bikes)
Just finished unpacking my luggage and I'm already beat. America was wonderful~ I saw a NASCAR race before I left the country and it was exciting! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!! Of course, it's not as good as a bicycle race but it was still pretty cool.

From what I've seen, Toyama and the Sakura dorms are quite lovely and I'm looking forward to my stay here. ❤

I do have to ask, the motorcycle that's parked in front of the dorms... who does it belong to? Because that has to be one of the most awesome looking bikes I've seen since I came back to Japan!!!! o(≧∇≦o)
